Trump Renews Threat Against Iran

(MENAFN) US President Donald Trump has cautioned that Iranian nuclear facilities could face further attacks if Tehran resumes uranium enrichment.

While Iranian authorities maintain that their atomic program serves only civilian goals, they have vowed to reconstruct installations damaged during last month’s joint strikes by the US and Israel.

In June, Israel launched multiple assaults on Iranian sites, asserting that Tehran was close to developing a nuclear warhead — a claim that Israeli leaders have reiterated for years.

Although both the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and American intelligence agencies have not uncovered conclusive proof that Iran is pursuing a nuclear arsenal, Washington took part in the offensive, aiming at locations in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

According to reports, the attacks inflicted substantial destruction on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and led to the deaths of several individuals, including nuclear experts and members of the armed forces.

During an appearance on a news agency last week, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reiterated that Iran would not relinquish its nuclear program.

He described uranium enrichment as a significant scientific achievement and a source of “national pride” for Iran.

President Trump replied on Sunday, labeling Iran’s position as “stupid” and issued a stern warning of future military action.

“We wiped out their nuclear possibilities. They can start again. If they do, we’ll wipe it out faster than you can wave your finger at it,” he declared.
